I collaborated with the Community of Charlottesville Wedding & Event Professionals (CCWEP) on redesigning and reconfiguring their website into a membership platform. My role went beyond tech implementation – I worked closely with the CCWEP team to create a user-friendly site that forms a network of solo-entrepreneurs and small creative businesses, elevating their online presence.

The project involved transitioning their site into a dynamic membership platform, seamlessly integrating Wild Apricot and WordPress. This project exemplifies my dedication to leveraging technology for the success of organizations, ensuring they not only keep up with the digital landscape but also thrive within it.

I took the initiative to establish and configure an extensive membership directory specifically designed for current members.

This directory serves as a valuable resource by presenting comprehensive information about each member's business categories, professional experience, website details, and personal contact information.

This strategic implementation not only enhances the organizational structure but also facilitates effective communication and networking among members within the community.

Wild Apricot <> Wordpress

Utilizing Wild Apricot's Website CMS, I established and seamlessly integrated the membership website with the WordPress platform. Membership sign-up, member log-in, and profile management are currently handled through Wild Apricot's platform. The transition between the two sites is smooth, ensuring a cohesive alignment in styles and navigation flow.

Custom sub domain is currently being used for Wild Apricot's website that matches the branding and naming convention for the Wordpress site.

Content Creation and Marketing

Marketing made simple and manageable for small business owner

Collaborating closely with CEO Lisa Watson, I expedited the launch process by contributing significantly to website content creation. Additionally, I established templates for email marketing, social media posts, blogs, and membership spotlights, and assisted in selecting photography.
